Gashem Travel Agency was founded in 1995, with the management having extensive experience in the airline industry for over 20 years (Europe, Africa & Asia). Currently as a leading agency, it was established on this very knowledge of the sector to add value to the local Ethiopian travel market. Since Gashem’s beginnings, the experience gained from 21 years of operation (1995-2016) has given us the capacity to understand and address the travel needs of various multicultural organizations. Additionally, the company employs highly skilled staff and management fully capable of handling the requirements of business and corporate travel.
And now in 2016, Gashem has joined the American Express Global Business Travel Partner Network, by becoming the latest partner office on the African continent. With this move, we are part of 22 franchise offices in Africa and a travel services network of over 2,200 branches in more than 140 countries; the single largest distributor of travel-related services in the world.
